This shifts the focus from simply producing a visually clean result to understanding what professional Russian Manicure should actually achieve.

Module 2

Nail Anatomy That Changes How You Work

Knowing anatomical terminology is not enough. You need to understand how the structures around the nail affect the decisions you make while working.

Learn what you are looking at, where different structures begin and end, why certain areas require greater control and why two clients should not automatically be approached in exactly the same way.

Module 3

E-File Control, Hand Position & Ergonomics

E-file control is much more than choosing an RPM. The course connects speed, pressure, movement, contact point, bit angle, stabilisation, technician hand position, client hand position, workspace setup and visibility — all of the variables that work together to produce controlled, deliberate work.

The aim is not to memorise one setting. It is to understand how the e-file behaves and develop the control to make deliberate adjustments when the situation changes.

Module 4

E-File Tools, Selection & Professional Care

Understanding your tools gives you far more confidence than simply knowing which one somebody else uses. This module explains how different tools behave, what they are designed to achieve and how to make appropriate choices according to the tissue, area and task in front of you.

Cleaning, sterilisation, storage and bit care are also covered as part of using and maintaining your tools to a professional standard.

Module 5

Step-by-Step Russian Manicure Technique

Watch the complete technique in detailed macro footage on normal skin with deeper cuticle pockets, with each stage shown slowly and the reasoning behind each decision explained.

The module covers opening the cuticle pocket, skin stretching, flame bit technique, cutting excess skin, refining and gel-polish application under the cuticle.

It also shows how anatomy, e-file control, positioning, tissue assessment and tool selection come together as one complete process.

Module 6

Real Clients. Different Skin. Different Decisions.

See how the same Russian Manicure principles are adapted across different clients:

• Normal skin with shallower cuticle pockets — manicure and gel-polish application
• Dry overgrown cuticle — more challenging overgrowth and dry surrounding skin
• Thin skin — a delicate case requiring greater control and lighter handling
• Sensitive skin — a more delicate case requiring careful control and showing how the technique is adapted

The aim is not to memorise a separate routine for each client. It is to understand how and why your decisions change when the tissue changes.

Module 7

Finishing, Aftercare & Service Positioning

Most courses stop once the demonstration is finished. You are then left to work out how to explain the service, maintain the result, market it, price it and develop it into something clients understand and value.

This module covers aftercare and maintenance, marketing and selling Russian Manicure, pricing and positioning the service, understanding when and how to increase prices, and building speed and confidence as your experience grows.

By the end of the course, you will not simply know how to perform Russian Manicure — you will understand how to assess, adapt and deliver it as a complete professional service.
